Have you tasted our newest addition to the tasting room menu? 2012 Leonardo Julio Vineyard Pinot Noir Yes, 2012—not a typo. We decided to cellar it for an additional year since it was a new vineyard for us and the juice was very slow to evolve in the bottle.

A winemaker’s dream and a grower’s nightmare, Leonardo Julio has six Pinot clones on just a few acres, making it tough to get the various blocks ripe at the same time and requiring multiple pick passes. For our fellow nerds, this wine’s clones in roughly equal proportions are 1A, 2A, 115, 667, 777 and Pommard. - Serena
