2018 Starscape Vineyard Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes:

True to its reputation this Starscape is a classic Russian River Valley Pinot. Mushroom and cola aromas mingle with dark cherry and toasted grain, maybe oats? It is lush and earthy on the palate with ripe cherry and rose petal. It is opulent but also bright. With age it has developed a lot of silky fruit, but stays light on its feet as it rolls across the palate in a very balanced play between rich and racy. This is our last vintage of Starscape fruit.
