Tasting Notes:
Green Ranch is nestled high atop a ridge cut into old-growth forest in rural Mendocino County. So, it's not a surprise to feature aromas of California chaparral and forest floor. On the fruit side of things dusty cherry, blood orange, and strawberry pop out of the glass. On the palate this wine still feels like a youngster. It is bright and vibrant with a bunch of cranberry and nice spices that give it a little bit of a rustic feel. There are tight tannins on the finish that help this wine stretch out the finish and they also make this a great food wine. (Updated 1.28.22 - Alan)
