2016 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:

Aromatically there is a big bowl of cherries, predominately black cherries. Underneath this fruity facade there are subtle aromas of violets and dried leaves. This wine is building palate weight as it ages so while it is not as fruit forward as it was even a year ago is still has a broad mid-palate and great structure. Flavors of plum and blackberry are up front with a little leather showing up as the long finish begins. (Updated 1.4.22 - Alan)
