2014 Starscape Vineyard Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:

True to the Russian River Valley AVA this wine offers aromas of black tea, cola, black cherry, and light cocoa. In the past couple years ripe strawberry and plum have come to the front of the nose. The wine is lighter and leaner on the palate than the rich set of aromas might suggest. Bursting with cherry flavors, the wine has a medium palate weight and the tight, fine-grained tannins from its youth have chained together to produce a velvety finish.  A great wine to pair with a meal - particularly if you are having a pork tenderloin, a Portobello mushroom or a beautiful piece of salmon.
