Grilled salmon with sweet onions and red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 4 salmon filets with skin, 6 oz each
- 2 small sweet onions
- 2 bell peppers
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp chopped thyme
- 1 tbsp chopped marjoram
Tasting notes: The sweetness of the grilled peppers and onions sing with the sweet fruit aromas of this pinot. And salmon and Pinot are always perfect together.
Serena's tips: This makes a great, easy summer meal. We chop the onions and bell peppers before serving them.
