2024 Cartograph Estate Riesling

Tasting notes: This is the first wine from these young vines at the Cartograph Estate. The color is a crystalline pale yellow that sparkles in the glass. Classic Riesling aromas of soft lemon, bees wax and pine resin are up front with a bit of brioche coming around as the wine opens up. On the palate it is light and lively showing more mouthwatering lemon and a clarity that only Riesling can deliver. This wine might build some palate weight as it ages but at this stage it is bright and refreshing with a finish that invites another sip. (2.19.24 - AB)
