2014 Upton Vineyard Sangiovese

Tasting notes:

Lovely red plum, rose petal, and violet aromas are the first thing you'll get along with leather and a little graphite mixed in with a bit of the old-time baby aspirin. Maybe it's all the Olympics we've been watching that put this image in my head but this is definitely a wine that mixes the strength and finesse to pull off that perfect balance beam routine. Tart cherry and cranberry flavors showing ample acid make this a wine with a serious dismount with a high degree of complexity.
