2018 Transverse Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes:

The 2018 Transverse has evolved significantly over the past couple of years. It is an eye opener when you take the first sniff. It opens like a mouthwatering cherry pie brimming with black cherry, cigar box and black pepper. The flavors on the palate are again that bold black cherry and blueberry with plentiful fine-grain tannins and a nice twinkle of acidity. It is rich but not cloying. It makes a big first impression but finishes bright and clean with pretty red fruit. (Updated 11.21.23 - Alan)
