2015 Perli Vineyard Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:

Perli is a vineyard that is slow to evolve in the bottle and while the nose is fairly subtle at the moment it shows where the wine is headed. Notes of Morel mushroom, violets, blackberry, cocoa, and wild strawberry lead to a palate that shows both bright and rich characteristics. Subtle flavors evoke a cherry pie and also show darker fruits like blackberry and blueberry. The long finish turns earthy late on the finish with supple tannins.  (Updated 12.7.2017 - Alan)
