This wine has picked up palate weight as it has aged. Rich Bing cherry, mushroom, and forest floor are the most prevalent aromas with some light floral notes as well. Nicely balanced on the palate, the word that describes it best is harmonious. The cool 2011 growing season did not give us a lot of big fruit components so the palate is decidedly more earthy than fruity with a light finish that is fairly short.
